just relax...

Sometimes the best thing for us is to just relax. It can make everything so much better to just clear your mind. it can make you feel better and if you're like me it can help your skin (stress spots...) so for a while just put your phone or laptop down and just sit there and calm. I promise you'll feel better after it.

In Love with...

I have always loved bracelets, and I have a certain few that I never take off because I love them. It's got to the point where if I'm not wearing them my wrist feels naked. I don't even know why I like them so much!
Anyway, the other day I decided that I was going to make something. I didn't know what I just knew I wanted to make something so my day would seem productive. So I spent a long time on the internet trying to decide what to make, I went on a beautiful mess and pinterest and then just searched on google.
 After ages I decided to make a bracelet (how exciting) because I found this website that showed you how to make this really pretty heart friendship bracelet.

I'm not going to lie, I got it wrong a lot. I also got pretty angry with it at one point! It's complicated at first but after a while you get used to it, but I still kept losing count of whether I had done one knot or two!

Leather Love...

So far this year we have seen a lot of leather. Whether it's leather jackets or leather look leggings, it's everywhere. It's the new trend, but the thing is, this has all been done before, I mean just look at Sandy...

Lets be honest. After seeing Grease for the first time you have always wanted to look like Sandy does at the end (or is that just me...?) because she looks pretty amazing. So anyway, now you can!

The earrings, belt and leather jacket are from River Island, the shoes and leggings from New Look, the top is from Missguided, the vo5 hair products and collection 2000 eyeliner can be bought from boots, the lipstick from mac.

Just curl your hair and you're ready to go get your Danny. (too cheesy?)

We'll take Manhattan...

Okay, so if you hadn't realised, I absolutely love films. I even have a film blog (which, obviously, you should check out). One of the things I love about films though is the costumes they wear. In films they can wear absolutely whatever-they can go back in time, outer space, to the future, to a made up land where everyone wears candy floss! The costumes can be anything and everything! That's why they're so great.
I really like looking through the past of fashion, looking at what clothes were like in the 60's, 70's, 80's and so on, I think this is why I like films set in the past (or from the past) so much.
That's why when my friend told me I should see a BBC film set in the 60's about a photographer for Vogue, I watched almost straight away. We'll Take Manhattan was based on a true story about photographer David Bailey and his model Jean Shrimpton.
I really enjoyed it. It was a really good story and it was true which always makes it better! Plus his accent (and him) was just beautiful. I really think you should watch it if you enjoy films about fashion (like devil wears prada?) or true films or just films about the past. Another thing I really like about the film was that when the credits were rolling it showed the real photographs of Jean that had been taken and the outfits and poses are almost exactly the same as that in the film, I love the attention to the littlest details!

in order to celebrate the royal baby...

I am British and it has been a long time since we had a royal baby, so in order to celebrate the birth of Kate and Will's new baby boy I have brought together all my favourite outfits that Kate has worn!

I absolutely love the maroon dress Kate wore because it was simple but beautiful.

The dress she wore in Singapore (right) was so pretty she looked like she was from a film.

These two outfits were more casual and the couple look so cute in their matching cowboy hats!

I thought Kate looked absolutely gorgeous in this teal dress with back detail. I thinks it's a beautiful dress and the colour suits her really well.

But nothing will beat the beautiful wedding dress she wore on the big day, she looked perfect!

Disney Inspiration...

Too Tight Sleeves...

Another thing that was found under the Bed That Cleanliness Forgot was a wonder woman t-shirt. I used to love it! I would probably never wear it now but I don't like throwing clothes away because you never know, one day all of my clothes might be dirty and I'll have nothing to wear so I'll be forced to put something old on, or I might want older clothes for a water fight in the summer! Either way, I tried it on the the arms were too tight! It felt like the fabric was cutting through my shoulders. So - because of the whole not throwing things away - I decided to cut the sleeves off.

First, make sure that your t-shirt is flat other wise you'll be cutting wonky.
Then start cutting down the seam of the sleeve, this makes sure that you're cutting the right place so the straps aren't too think or too thin, it also makes sure that they are even.
Once you get near the bottom of the seam cut over it so that your cut goes further down the t-shirt than the original seam does. This means that your cut will be loose on your arms. don't worry about making the sleeves completely even, once it's on you won't be able to see.
I know it's really simple but I just thought you might want to know.

Longer lashes...

Everyone wants long eyelashes? Yeah? So I just thought you might want to know one simple step to longer lashes.
All you need is some Vaseline and a mascara brush....

Basically, Vaseline locks in the nutrients or something like that (I'm not too sure...) in your eyelashes that helps them grow (this I do know). So, all you have to do is before going to bed dip a clean mascara brush into the Vaseline and put it on your eyelashes as if it were mascara, a lot of it! Then go to sleep! That's literally it. You can do it in the day but then you have like gloopy eyelashes and people will think you've got conjunctivitis or something. Where as using it at night it's gone by the morning.
the best thing is you can pretty mush get Vaseline anywhere, Tesco, Boots, Superdrug.... where ever!

It's Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model again tonight and you better be watching it because everything's gone underwater! There's 11 girls left in the house now but my favourite to win went out last week! I loved Jessica.... now I just hope Sarah or Laura win because these were my favourites from the first episode and I think they're different. new...

So every year my school gets a day off because we have this jubilee thing (we basically get a day off to go to a fair...) and so this year I decided to go shopping instead while all other schools were in hahahhaa!

but I just wanted to post about my new earrings!!! I love them!

I absolutely love these I think they're so pretty but I have no idea when I will wear them.

I also got these which I thought were nice because they're plain and they came in a pack of 2 - in gold and silver - so will go with anything. I also thought they were a good size because they're not too big that they'll get on my nerves.

Anyway, that's all I got in my summer shopping. Have a good summer!
