Pretty Pastels

I've never really liked pastel colours. They're too light and get dirty too easily. But for some reason I've started to really love them recently. I really like the pastel nail colours, especially since it's coming up to spring (well not really, but I can hope...). It might have something to do with the adorable fujifilm instax mini 8 and all the really cute colours that it has come out in. It's definitely on my wish list! SO anyway, I just made a quick thing on polyvore of some cute pastels I've seen. (I wasn't actually meant to publish it in here but oh well it happened without me telling it to)

Audrey Hepburn Inspired

I absolutely love old films. Mainly 80's teen films but I really love Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's as well because she just looks so glamorous in every scene! She always looked so "elegant". My favourite is the dress she is wearing above, second from the right. Her look is so simple but looks so glamorous at the same time. I love the fitted black dress and it's a look that can absolutely never go out of fashion! It also looks good on literally everyone and anyone. I mean, it's slimming, goes with anything and will never go out of fashion. When in doubt, wear black.

Having said that, I loved this scene too and what she was wearing...

The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner...

Oh my goshhhhhhhhhh. One of my New Year Resolutions was to look after my skin better.
I decided that for the first time ever I need to get some good stuff for my face and start having a proper routine (which never usually happens but oh well). I bought this teenie tiny toner from The Body Shop that I am in love with! I've never been one of those people with the face wash the cleanser the toner the moisturiser the day cream and night cream routine thing. But I actually really like this toner and think that it is helping my skin loaaaddsss! And I have actually been remembering to put it on - which is really weird for me!

I've been putting it on every night with a cotton pad thingy (what are they called?) and then putting moisturiser on. It's so good I wish I'd bought the big bottle!

I Have a Thing for Shirts...

This is not a post about blouses. I don't like blouses. Blouses are floaty and see through. I don't like that.
But I do absolutely love shirts at the moment! I really don't know why to be honest? I like shirts that are long enough to tuck into my jeans because that's the look I really love! I like all the crazy mad patterned shirts and I have to say that one of my new favourite fashion pieces is my tartan shirt that I got for Christmas (off my Grandma and Granddad). I don't usually like anything that's too crazy or too colourful or madly patterned, but strangely I really love this look on shirts at the moment.

        

My only problem is, I have to look in the men's section for nice shirts most of the time because all women's shirts are blousy or cropped. The flowery shirt is actually from the men's section in Primark! I love them though, even if I'm super fussy about it...
